Vietnam’s software industry saw its revenue grow 87 per cent to US$681 million last year, according to a survey conducted recently by the Ho Chi Minh IT Association.
The sector also exported US$118 million worth of software products and services, rising 47 per cent from a year earlier, the survey showed.
The software and IT industry employs 30,000 workers now, which still remains modest, the association noted. (Science and Development Times)
