Vietnam Largest Seaport Handles 11.2M Tons of Cargo in Jan-Aug

Saigon Port, Vietnam’s largest seaport, handled nearly 11.2 million tons of cargo in the first eight months of this year, up 27.8% from a year earlier.
 
In August, the port received around 1.2 million tons of cargo.
 
Saigon port has set a goal to handle 12.3 million tons of cargo, gain revenues of VND980 billion (US$55 million) and profits of VND40 billion this year. (Transport)
