The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee held a “World Consumer Rights Day” at Pico Plaza, an electronic and electric appliance supermarket, on March 13 to raise the public awareness on consumer protection.
Under the theme “Our money, our rights”, Consumers International, which is the global campaigning voice for consumers, will focus on protecting consumer rights in the financial sector.
A draft law on consumer rights protection is expected to be completed and submitted to the Government by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Pico Plaza has launched “Consumer Month” from March 6, which is strongly supported by customers.
