Haiphong Port Ltd. Co. put into use the 5th wharf at Dinh Vu Port on May 11, part of a VND1.5 trillion ($78 million) plan, to expand the port’s second phase.
This is among Haiphong City’s first four wharves which can receive ships of 20,000 tons each.
Under a seaport development plan until 2020 approved by the Vietnamese prime minister, Dinh Vu Port will be developed to serve vessels of up to 30,000 DWT each. (Vietnam Economic Times)
