Vietnamese firms are estimated to have exported more than $27 million worth of tra fish to Russia in the first half of 2010, up 2.2 times on-year, said Duong Ngoc Minh, chairman of the Vietnam Steering Board for Tra Fish Export to Russia.
The export value may reach $100 million by the year-end, he said.
Last year, Vietnam earned $70 million from shipping 40,000 tons of tra fish to Russia. (Youth)
