In a joint effort to review the three-year implementation of “National Traffic Safety” programme initiated by the Government, celebrate the 65th National Day and respond to the Grand Ceremony of Millennial Founding Anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi, a Trans-Vietnam Journey Programme will be kicked off in Ca Mau on August 10, 2010 and concluded in Hanoi on September 10, 2010, crossing 25 provinces and cities.
The programme is carried out by the National Traffic Safety Committee in coordination with provincial/municipal traffic safety committees, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the UNESCO Film and Multimedia Centre, and the Phuc Thang Investment & Trading Joint Stock Company.
The Trans-Vietnam journey programme is a humanity event, aimed at calling all people to observe traffic laws and raise the awareness of traffic safety.
