International visitor arrivals to Vietnam reached some 506,424 in January, up 12.6 % from December and 17.4 % from a year earlier.
The number of relative-visiting tourists climbed 93.3 % month on month and 96.7 % year on year as the traditional Lunar New Year was to come.
China led foreign arrivals to Vietnam with over 76,000 visitors, up 12 % year on year.
