In preparation for the National Tourism Year - Phu Yen 2011, Phu Yen province has accelerated tourism infrastructure investment, particularly lodging facilities.
Many projects are underway in 2011, including Bai Xep resort, Nordic international tourist village and Long Hai tourist site.
The Phu Yen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said the province now has nearly 100 hotels and more than 10 tourist areas with over 2,500 rooms, of which, 900 rooms meet 3 star standards.
