FPT IS Builds Information Security Management System for Bao Viet Holdings

FPT Information System Joint Stock Company (FPT IS) and Vietnam’s largest insurer Bao Viet Holdings signed a contract in Hanoi to carry out the “information security management system (ISMS) for IT division, Bao Viet Holdings” project.

 

The project, which will be completed in 8-15 months, consists of the following contents: Establishing information security management system (ISMS) for IT block, Bao Viet Holdings under the international information security standards, ISO/IEC 27001:2005; Coordinating with competent authorities to grant ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certificates to Bao Viet Holdings; and Supporting the re-evaluation of ISO/IEC 27001:2005 in the next two years.

 

ISO/IEC 27001:2005 is an information security management system standard published in 2005 by the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
