Dak Lak Leads in Investment in Central Highlands

Dak Lak attracted 38 investment projects with a total registered capital of nearly VND2.5 trillion in the first nine months of this year.
 
Prominent projects include a German invested one worth over VND 300 billion involving in building a supermarket called Metro.
 
By the end of September, industrial parks and complexes in the province have lured 104 domestic projects with a total registered capital of over VND 6,217 billion, of which 48 are operational.
 
The province has also attracted 8 foreign-invested projects capitalizing at US $118 million, of which 5 are operational.
 
Dak Lak has invested in four projects abroad, including a US$50 million project on growing rubber trees in Laos, and a US$10 million project on growing cash crops in Cambodia.
 
The province is expected to lure 48 domestic projects totaling some VND3 trillion this year.
 
The neighbor province of Gia Lai has so far this year drawn in 14 locally-invested projects with a total capital of VND738 billion, and 4 foreign-invested projects worth US$7.7 million.
 
Meanwhile, Dak Nong has licensed 30 domestic projects with a combined capital of VND 707 billion.
