Vietnam, South Korea Share Corporate Governance Experience

The Northern Centre for Small and Medium Enterprise Support - TAC Hanoi (the Business Development Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment) has coordinated with the South Korean Small & Medium Business Corporation (SBC), the South Korea Business Association in Vietnam (SMBL), the South Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE), the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) organised a training course on “Strengthening management capacity for small businesses in Vietnam” on March 13, 2012.
 
This annual programme was designed for South Korean and Vietnamese enterprises. It aimed to create a stepping stone for small and medium businesses to transform into bigger ones. Trainees were granted certificates for the course.
 
Mr Chung Jae-Hwan, SBC Director, said: This project aimed to improve business management for Vietnamese and South Korean companies, provide managerial skills, and improve the capacity for business intermediaries, especially South Koreans.
