Japan Supports Upgrading Education Environment for Ethnic Minority Children

The Embassy of Japan in Vietnam held, on December 18, the signing ceremony of the Grant Assistance for Japanese NGO Projects contract valued at US$610,518 funded by the Government of Japan for “The Project of Quality Primary Education for Ethnic Minority Areas in Northern/Midland region.”

 

Approved as a highly prioritized international cooperation project belonging to The Grant Assistance for Japanese NGO Projects, the project aims to improve the education environment and training for teachers at 5 districts and 15 communes of Ha Giang province, Quang Binh province and Quang Ngai province, where the percentage of ethnic minorities is high.
