“Tastes of Europe” on Show at Food & Hotel Vietnam

The European Union (EU) participated for the first time at the Food & Hotel Vietnam from 24-26 April 2013 with an exhibition stand hosting 20 EU producers and producers associations coming from all over Europe. A vast variety of European food and beverage products were displayed including Jambon de Bayonne (ham), Feta (goat cheese), top-quality olive oils, and the finest wines from Spain, Portugal and Austria, to mention some.
 
 The EU presence at the food fair is part of a bigger “Tastes of Europe” campaign. With the on-going negotiation for a possible future EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, this campaign is designed to inform and present to Vietnamese producers and food professionals the EU’s quality schemes in place which they can benefit from.
