VCCI, Nghe An Sign Cooperation Agreement for 2016-2020

With the agreement, Nghe An will seek to improve the business environment, enhance competitiveness, promote investment and trade promotion, and support local business in the 2016-2020 period.

 

According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out action plans to implement Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW dated December 9, 2011 of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the period of accelerated industrialisation, modernisation and international integration, Resolution No. 19/NQ-CP dated March 18, 2014 of the Government on major tasks and solutions to better business environment and enhance national competitiveness, Resolution No. 19/NQ-CP dated March 12, 2015 of the Government on key tasks and measures to further improve the business environment and enhance national competitiveness in 2016 and 2017. The two sides will also research, survey and consult on the improvement of business and investment environment in Nghe An, introduce economic potential and prospects of investment, trade and tourism development of Nghe An province, and mobilise domestic and foreign enterprises to invest in the province.

 

VCCI will support the province to research and survey the local business environment, advise on administrative procedure reform, improve the business environment to raise provincial competitiveness index (PCI), which is expected to reach the top group by 2020.
