On May 8, in Hanoi, Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC), Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) organized the Program "VWEC, an 18-year journey: Golden Roses in Integration".
The program was dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (May 8, 2001 - 2019).
Driven by the motto "For the sustainable development of the Vietnamese women entrepreneurs community", and with the direct guidance of VCCI, the Council has worked to promote, foster and empower women entrepreneurs, becoming the largest organization representing the Vietnamese business women with more than 3,000 members nationwide, involving women with networks, alliances, issues and best practices that they can use in their respective careers and businesses.
Affirming the role of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, Dr. Vu Tien Loc, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized: “During that 18 years of development, the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council has received the guidance of the leaders of the Party and the State, the leaders of VCCI, especially those who have been attached to the Council since the early days, to become a firm platform for Vietnamese female entrepreneurs to advance their careers. The council also serves as a bridge to connect Vietnamese female entrepreneurs to the world”.
