Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc recently signed Decision 26/2019/QD-TTg approving the list of 93 State-owned enterprises (SOEs) to be equitized from now to the end of 2020.
According to the decision, of these SOEs, the State will hold at least 65% of registered capital in four SOEs, from 50% to below 65% of share capital in 62 SOEs, and less than 50% or even zero stake in 27 SOEs. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will have 13 SOEs and 38 SOEs to go public according to this decision, respectively.
