Le Loi commune has maintained and improved the NTM criteria since 2019, taking trade and services as the spearhead economic sector. Since being recognized as meeting new rural standards in 2019, Le Loi commune has firmly maintained the criteria and effectively implemented solutions to build advanced new rural areas. With the spirit of solidarity, unity and creativity in leadership and direction, the commune has maximized the role of the people as the subject in activities. The bright - green - clean - beautiful rural landscape is a bright spot in the development picture of Le Loi commune, clearly demonstrating the continuous efforts in improving the living environment and sustainable development. Rural infrastructure of the commune has been invested synchronously, the rural traffic system has been completely built, rural roads have been equipped with lighting; schools, medical stations, cultural houses have been upgraded and modernized..., contributing to improving the lives of the people. Le Loi commune "started" to implement the advanced new rural construction with the goal of determining the completion of the criteria and quickly perfecting the steering committee, based on the actual conditions of the locality to develop a plan and deploy it to each village and hamlet. In which, it is necessary to promote the role and responsibility of the head of the Party Committee, the government, the vanguard and exemplary nature of cadres and party members in the advanced new rural construction. With the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people enjoy", the commune has promoted propaganda and mobilization work through collective activities, the radio system... so that people are aware of their responsibilities and roles as subjects in the implementation of the advanced new rural construction. In addition, the locality regularly organizes meetings to listen to the people's thoughts and aspirations; promptly resolves difficulties to join hands in implementing the plan. Since then, good practices, models, and emulation movements for new rural construction have spread throughout the entire commune.
Up to now, most rural roads have been asphalted and concreted, creating favorable conditions for people to travel and transport goods. Thanks to extensive propaganda work, the awareness of cadres, party members and people has been raised, and people have actively contributed to the development process. The economy has developed stably, with trade and services becoming key economic sectors. The material and spiritual life of the people has improved. In 2024, the average income of the commune is estimated at 78.5 million VND/person; the commune has no more poor households, only 21 near-poor households.
The current highlight of Le Loi commune is the bright - green - clean - beautiful rural landscape, demonstrating the continuous efforts in improving the living environment and sustainable development. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Le Loi commune Ha Minh Dan shared that with its geographical location in the middle of the district, on the right bank of the Red River, the commune develops waterways; the system of provincial roads, inter-commune and inter-village roads are regularly upgraded, creating favorable conditions for the commune to develop its socio-economy. Le Loi commune currently has 3 villages: Ha Vy, Tu Van, An Canh. Previously, people mainly lived on agriculture. In the process of economic and cultural development, the commune developed a number of handicrafts such as: embroidery, woodworking, rattan and bamboo weaving, and tray making. In particular, Tu Van village is famous for its weaving and embroidery. After the August Revolution in 1945, artisans in the village passed on the embroidery and flag sewing profession to their descendants. Since then, Tu Van village has become familiar with the name "national flag sewing craft village". Mr. Dang Hong Huong in Tu Van village said that in the process of building a new rural area, the traffic infrastructure and environmental landscape of each village have been changed. Along with traditional occupations, Le Loi commune also promotes the development of trade and services. The commune has 3 markets: 2 vegetable and food markets in Tu Van and Ha Vy; 1 poultry market in Ha Vy - the central poultry trading market of the district and Hanoi city. The economic structure has shifted towards reducing the proportion of agriculture to less than 18%; handicraft production accounts for 35%; commercial services account for over 47%.
The Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tan Phat, happily said: Le Loi is changing and rising today, which is a testament to the determination and efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the people of the whole commune. With the viewpoint that building a new rural area has a starting point but no ending point, Le Loi commune will continue to improve the quality of the criteria to build a model new rural commune, making the homeland increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized, and a livable countryside.

After 5 years of striving, by December 2024, Le Loi commune was assessed by the Hanoi City Advanced New Rural Area Assessment Team to have achieved 19/19 criteria with a score of 94.7/100 points and was recognized by the Chairman of the Hanoi City People's Committee as meeting the advanced new rural area standards in 2024. The commune maintained and improved the quality of the new rural area construction criteria, completing 19/19 criteria to reach the advanced new rural area according to the set plan.
