The Ho Chi Minh City Securities Trading Center (HSTC), Vietnam’s main stock exchange, has listed shares of total 100 corporate stocks after it added six more firms December 28.
Total registered capital of these 100 companies has reached VND138.3 trillion ($864.5 million) as of yesterday and market capitalization hit VND147 trillion ($9.2 trillion).
Including two fund certificates with combined capital of VND1 trillion, the market now has 102 stocks with a combined listed capital of VND148.3 trillion and market capitalization of VND149.4 trillion.
In addition, HSTC also listed 372 kinds of Government, municipal and corporate bonds with total value of VND57.7 trillion ($3.6 billion).
Among 6 new companies listed yesterday, the Petrolimex Tanker Joint Stock Company (Pjtaco) is the biggest firm with registered capital of VND35 billion. Its PJT shares debuted at VND45,000 on 12,560 units.
The DIC Investment and Trading Co, coded DIC, has registered capital of VND32 billion. The stock ended the first trading day at VND38,000 on 34,590 shares.
Both My Chau Printing and Packing Co (coded MCP) and the Saigon Fabric Knitting Co (SFN) have capital of VND30 billion.
MCP closed at VND40,000 on 4,510 shares matching orders, while SFN finished at high price of VND101,000 on only 10 shares.
The Safoco Food and Foodstuff Co listed 2.7 million shares under the code of SAF. The company saw 1,000 shares traded at price of VND40,000 on the first listing day.
The Binh Dinh Mineral Co (BMC) was the smallest firm among the newcomers. The 13-billion firm saw 300 shares traded at VND50,000.
