The international exhibition Vietbuild 2008 took place in Ho Chi Minh City Sept 3, attracting 235 joint-venture companies and 137 enterprises and groups coming from 20 countries, Vietnam News Agency said.
Foreign firms coming from South Korea, Thailand, Italy, Japan, China, Germany, Switzerland, France, the U.S. and Singapore, are displaying their products at nearly 2,200 booths.
During the five-day exhibition, they will also organize a workshop introducing new technology and products of the civil engineering industry during the five-day exhibition.
Eight groups of products will be showcased at the exhibition, including construction materials, interior decoration, glass doors, electrical equipment, and sanitary products and waterproofing materials.
The event was jointly held by the Ministry of Construction and the AFC International Exhibition and Fair Corporation. (VNA)
