The first National SME Week 2008 entitled “Integration and Business Linkage for Development” will be organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) at the National Conference Centre in Ha Noi, the Unification Meeting Hall in Ho Chi Minh City, and other provinces and cities from November 17 to November 21, 2008.
The week aims to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to expand business and seek their partners, and promote business ties. Different activities including business forums, exhibitions, talk shows, and a number of training courses for Vietnamese SMEs will be opened across the country.
About 300 booths for farm produce (cultivated, breeding, forest products; processing industry); industrial products (textile; shoes; power, electronic, office equipment); seafood (fresh, frozen, canned products); related technologies; IT; real estate and industrial zone development; handicraft, glass, pottery, and plastic; healthcare equipment, medicine, and cosmetic; building technologies, machines, materials, and construction projects; finance, bank, insurance, associations, investment funds; are estimated to be shown in the week.
