Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Spain is expected to reach US$2 billion this year, up 53.84 per cent on-year, said the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Ho Chi Minh City.
In the first eight months of this year, the two-way trade saw on-year increase of 28 per cent, said the office without giving out exact value.
Vietnam mainly exports garments, footwear, furniture, seafood and coffee to Spain and imports building materials and machinery.
Tourism, telecom, retail sales, infrastructure and architecture development are key fields that enterprises of both sides are seeking cooperation opportunities, said the office. (Vietnam Economic Times)
