The Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Banking Group, a strategic stakeholder of Vietnam's leading stock brokerage, the Saigon Securities Incorporation will buy an additional 1.36 million shares in Vietnam stock firm within 60 days from Nov 3 to raise its ownership to 19.35 per cent from 18.25 per cent, the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange said.
Currently, ANZ holds more than 25 million shares in SSI.
In the third quarter, SSI made gross revenues of VND417.24 billion (US$25.287 million), up 144.32 per cent on year, bringing the accumulative revenues in Jan-Oct to VND1.053 trillion, up 8.2 per cent on year.
In Jan-Sept, SSI had pretax profit of VND259.65 billion, down 69 per cent on year. (HOSE)
