The Binh An Seafood Joint Stock Company (Bianfishco) has announced that it will export over 50 containers of frozen pangasius fish to the U.S. in August.
Bianfishco, one of the four largest pangasius fish exporters in Vietnam, has invested heavily in modern equipment and machinery, aimed at meeting the high standards required by the U.S.
The company has also built a series of EU-standard production units, which have been certified as ISO 9001:2000.
In March 2009, the company established a branch in California named Bianfishco US.
This year, Bianfishco expects a pretax profit of VND50 billion (US$2.95 million). It also plans to make gross revenue of VND1.225 trillion, including export revenue of VND1.036 trillion and VND188.1 billion in revenue from by-products.
The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) said that the firm ranked 6th in pangasius export revenues nationwide with US$42.7 million. (CafeF)
