The Department of Planning and Investment of Dong Nai province said the southern province attracted over US$613 million of foreign direct investment (FDI) capital in the first six months of 2013, of which 40 fresh projects contributed nearly US$339 million and existing projects raised over US$274 million.
To date, Dong Nai province has 1,349 FDI projects with a total registered capital of US$23.5 billion, 1,037 projects of which are valid.
