The governing People’s Committee of Binh Duong province said the province’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the first nine months of 2013 was estimated at 10.8 percent over the same period of 2013. Particularly, construction and industrial sectors expanded 7.4 percent, services sector enlarged 16.5 percent, and agricultural sector increased 1.6 percent.
The Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee attributed the positive growth amid overall economic difficulties to the stable performance of foreign-invested enterprises which accounted for a majority of industrial production value and exports in the province. Besides, the province timely implemented the Government’s solutions in dealing with difficulties against enterprises.
