VietJet, 13 October, officially revealed it will open a new route connecting Hanoi with Siem Reap, Cambodia on November 3, 2014. To celebrate this announcement, VietJet has been selling tickets from just VND420,000 (US$20).
Previously VietJet, which already operates international flights from Vietnam to Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand) and Seoul (South Korea), also announced it will open a direct route from Ho Chi Minh City to Taipei in Taiwan on December 12, 2014.
The Siem Reap flight will depart from Hanoi every day at 5.15pm and arrive in Siem Reap at 7.05pm. The return flight will depart Siem Reap at 8.05pm and land in Hanoi at 9.55pm. The flight duration is one hour and 50 minutes.
