The Hanoi Customs Department is carrying out actual activities related to professions and processes of exchanging and inputting data about vehicles, passengers and freights by air to prepare conditions for the launch of the single-window air customs system from January 1, 2017.
With this national single window air system, the information exchange among State management agencies and businesses at Noi Bai International Airport will be made electronically. Under the plan, the Hanoi Customs Department will receive electronic manifest information and procedures on exit and entry aircraft for big airlines and air risk management from January 1, 2017. Nationwide implementation will be started from July 1, 2017.
Authorities in charge include customs, border security, port, quarantine, health agencies, airlines and businesses.
