Phu Tho Club Launches Newly-upgraded Horse Race-track
Newly-upgraded horse race-track at Phu Tho racecourse in HCM City opened on February 27, 2005 and the first race received jockeys from five countries and territories.
In June 2004, Thien Ma Co. Ltd., signed a business contract with the Sport Club to upgrade infrastructure of the racecourse and manage racing activities with the club. Thien Ma has invested US$2 million in the project to upgrade facilities, including US$500,000 to import 40 purebred horses from Australia.
With interesting, competitive races, the racecourse will certainly become one of attractive amusement place in HCM City.
