Vinh Phuc province had 858 new companies in the first nine months of 2019, a year on year growth of 9.02%, bringing the total number of active businesses in the province to 11,169 as of September 30, 2019, exceeding the target of 10,000 companies by 2020 as stated in the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress.
In 2019, based on tasks and solutions stated in resolutions of the Government and the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee has launched action plans on supporting business development, improving the business investment climate, enhancing competitiveness and especially facilitating innovative startups. The province has concentrated on completing infrastructure in many industrial parks, streamlined administrative procedures, with the focus on executing Resolution 36a on e-government construction. The Provincial People’s Committee has maintained regular government-business meetings to learn about difficulties and obstacles against businesses and seek best solutions.
