Dak Lak Pushes up Socio-Economic Cooperation with Phu Yen Province

The authorities of Dak Lak and Phu Yen have recently signed a cooperation agreement on socio-economic development, under which top priorities will be given to investment in infrastructural construction, agriculture, tourism, trade and services. Much importance is attached to sustainable forest protection, especially the limitroph area between these central and central highlands provinces such as the Ea So Natural Reserve and the Krong Trai Protected Forest. The agreement is seen as providing favourable conditions for investors to exploit the potentials and advantages of the two sides, adding to form a large economic centre in the East-West corridor and Vietnam-Lao-Cambodia border three-way crossroads.
