An international trade fair showcasing the motorbike and automobile industry in Vietnam (Autotech 2006) will be opened in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi from June 6 to 9, 2006, the trade fair’s introductory press conference was told yesterday in Hanoi.
The first annual trade fair, which will take place at the Hanoi Friendship Culture Palace, will attract both international and domestic giants to showcase their products, technology and solutions, said organizers.
The Autotech 2006 will focus on displays of sedans, buses, trucks, vehicles for special purposes, motorbikes, bicycles, transport means for railway, waterway and airway industries, tramcars, technical equipment, auto toys, auto interiors, spare parts and accessories for motorized vehicles.
The fair will also place emphasis on environment-friendly technologies in vehicles.
The event will also hold seminars for Vietnamese government agencies and enterprises and programs on public transport means and services.
The Autotech 2006 is organized by the Ministry of Transport, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Asia Trade Fair and Trade Promotion Co. and Vietnam Exhibition Co. and others.
