The Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) will launch a trade and investment portal at
www.itpc.hochiminhcity.gov.vn Sept 19 to provide fast, new and correct information for trade and investment businesses inside and outside the country.
The modern technology-equipped portal will mainly serve three target groups of Ho Chi Minh City’s exporters, foreign customers and investors, said Truong Trong Nghia, the center’s director.
It will also help link local authorities and businesses, he added.
The portal project, which was launched in 2007 with the technical assistance and professional training of the Netherlands CBI and a VND7 billion (US$437,500) funding from the city’s budget, aims to exploit trade and investment information from the WTO and the Netherlands-based Centre for Promotion of Imports (CBI) and other domestic relevant agencies.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade Sept 9 officially inaugurated the foreign market portal at
www.thitruongnuocngoai and
www.TTNN.com.vn, aiming to help domestic enterprises have more access to information on foreign countries and territories worldwide, and to boost the country’s export turnover. (Youth, Laborer)
