The organising board of IT Week 17 has officially announced activities to be included in the event, which will take place in Hanoi-based Giang Vo Exhibition Center from October 29 to November 2.
The annual will be co-organised by the Vietnam Association for Information Processing (VAIP), Hanoi Association for Information and Communication Technology (HANICT) and the Global Expo Vietnam Company.
The organizing board said that instead of promoting advertising activities like in previous exhibitions, IT Week 17 will be held in accordance with the model of fair-cum-exhibition, with the focus on creating opportunities for customers to enjoy low-priced products or services.
The main programs include fair, exhibition, informatics, electronics, and digital technology. Under the message of “best chances for enterprises to promote products and advise their brand names, the event is expected to attract a large number of youths with many various and interesting acts.
An APEC international conference, themed “Processing opportunity software for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), will be held in the sideline of the event.
Luong Chi Mai, vice head of the Institute of Technology and Information and commissioner of VAIP said the conference is aimed to boost the capacity of software processing for firms operating in the IT filed in Asia-Pacific region.
IT Week 17 is still receiving financial support from the VNPT Corporation, Intel, Microsoft, FPT and ect.
