Up to 120 Vietnamese enterprises are showcasing their products of wooden furniture, fine arts items, processed food and many other agricultural and forestry products at nearly 200 pavilions of the fifth China-ASEAN fair opened in Nanning, Guangxi, China, October 22.
The event with 3,300 booths drew attention of over 2,100 enterprises from China and ASEAN countries, aiming to build a unified trade bloc of the 10 ASEAN countries and China.
The fair will help to promote the establishment of a China-ASEAN free trade area and serves as a venue for regional importers and manufacturers to meet and seek measures for reducing costs and stimulating consumption.
Currently, ASEAN is China’s fourth largest trade partner. In the first half of this year, two-way trade between China and ASEAN surpassed US$11 billion, which is higher than that between China and the US, and that between China and Japan. (VOV)
