Japan Firm Starts Building Precise Engineering Plant in North Vietnam

Japanese wholly-invested THK Co. Ltd October 23 started building a factory to produce, process and assemble precise engineering machines and equipment in northern Bac Ninh province.

The project, covering 36,821 square meters in Tien Son Industrial Park, will has investments of US$14 million in the first phase.

The factory is scheduled to officially operate in the second quarter of 2009.

Products from the plant will be used in industrial sector and civil engineering. (Vietnam Economic Times)
