DHL Express Opens Two New Express Centers

On Oct 30, 2008 , DHL has reinforced its commitment to the Vietnam express and logistics market with the setup of two new Express Centers in Vung Tau and in Hai Phong.

 

Both new Express Centers are located in the center of the cities, and offer DHL Express services to its customers in Hai Phong and Vung Tau and surrounding areas. These locations were selected in anticipation of the continued nationwide growth that DHL Express will experience in the coming years. The opening of two new Express Centers provides DHL Express’ customers with easy and convenient solutions when sending shipments anywhere in the world.

 

“The opening of our Express Centers in the port cities of Hai Phong and Vung Tau serves this purpose by providing them with both the infrastructure and the support they need to determine the best solutions for their air express and logistic requirements,” said Mr. Tim Baxter, General Director of DHL – VNPT Express Ltd.

 

These investments are part of the US$14 million investment program announced in November last year, which strengthens DHL Express’ presence in Vietnam.
