Regulators of Vietnam's economy and businesses should take effective measures to stimulate the domestic demand to overcome adverse impacts from the global financial crisis, Hoang Tho Xuan, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Domestic Market Department quoted as saying on November 11.

Government economists also forecast that consumer prices will ease at no more than 24 per cent this year and drop to 10 per cent-12 per cent next year, Xuan said.

CPI in Nov will not be higher than in Oct, Xuan predicted.

The ministry will ask provincial and municipal authorities to boost production to ensure supply of goods in the remaining months this year. (Labor)
