Bac Lieu Province Receives Japanese Non-Refundable Aid

The Japanese government has provided medical equipment worth US81,513 as non-refundable aid to the Medical Centre of Hong Dan District, southern Bac Lieu province, which was transferred under a signing ceremony at the Japanese Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City on August 20.

“This is part of the Japanese government’s non-refundable assistance program and is the first one for the Mekong Delta provinces. Apart from healthcare, we also have projects on education, poverty reduction, social welfare, and environment,” said Japanese Consul General Osamu Shiozaki.

Attending the ceremony were Chairman of Hong Dan District’s People’s Committee Le Thanh Hung, Director of Hong Dan Medical Centre Huynh Van Minh and the mass media.
