Techmart Haiphong-Hanoi 2004 Fair

On October 21-23, 2004, the Techmart Haiphong-Hanoi 2004 Fair will be held at the Haiphong International Exhibition Centre. It is the first time that Techmart has combined research & development with business activities, contributing to socio-economic developments in the Northern coastal area.

Techmart Haiphong-Hanoi 2004 includes a number of sectors, including agro-forestry-aquatic products, mechanics, automaton, IT, apparel, footwear, construction materials, chemicals, ceramics, glass, urban transport and environment protection.

The theme of the fair is "partnership for development" aimed at developing science and technology, honouring local expertise, combining research and development with production, assisting renovation of technology, increasing competitiveness, productivity and product quality with low production cost.

The fair also includes two seminars with the topics "Developing science and technology market" and "Evaluation of technology standards" as well as exchanges and linkages between enterprises and science and technology institutions.
