Hilton Hanoi Opera to Host Moon Cake Festival

The five-star Hilton Hanoi Opera, with the cooperation of Cathay Pacific and the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, will organize the Moon Cake Festival and a special Mid-Autumn Festival for Hanoi’s disadvantageous pupils on the traditional mid-autumn night, falling on September 28.

On this occasion, from September 1 to 28, the hotel will introduce two Chinese chefs, Liao Jianqing and Zhong Jinbowith, who have 15 years of experience in making the cakes and will introduce eight special moon cakes of China.

Jerome Auvity, director general of Hilton Hanoi Opera, says the hotel has joined in many charity activities over the past five years, such as presenting scholarships to poor but excellent pupils in central Quang Ngai province and organising a concert to raise funds for charity. Hundreds of poor students have also been provided jobs at the Hilton.
