World Cyber Games 2004 in Hanoi Finishes
The final round of the World Cyber Games 2004 (WCG) in Hanoi ended on August 15 with eight first prizes and one runner-up prize.
WCG 2004's round in Vietnam was kicked off on July 7 in the four big cities of Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh and Can Tho. The final of the contest will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on August 29. The six winners will participate in the WCG 2004 final in San Francisco in the US.
Samsung Electronic Company is the official representative of the WCG 2004 in Vietnam offering prizes worth VND250 million. Around 700 players from 62 countries are expected to attend the world games contest.
