Nghe An Techmart: Chances for Science and Technology Development
The Nghe An Techmart 2005, a technology and equipment trade fair in the Vietnam’s northern central region, is set to open at the Nghe An Culture and Information Centre in Vinh City, Nghe An Province from May 13 to 15 and is one of the major events to celebrate the 115th birthday of the late President Ho Chi Minh and the Nghe An Tourism Year 2005.
Techmart 2005 has its own website which is a major information channel for non-attending enterprises to collect information and exchange technology transfer. Up to now, over 40 items of equipments have been registered and offered for sales at the event where as over 80 technologies and equipments are needed by units in the province. Equipments and technologies for agriculture, forestry, aquaculture along coastline, food processing, cultivation on hilly terrain, saplings and breeding animals are needed most. And, equipments for mineral exploitation and processing, building material production, machine manufacturing, environment treatment, garment and textile industry, telecommunication and electronics are also on the high demand.
The aim of the Techmart is to establish and development of the science and technology market in the northern central region, to honour internal science and technology efforts, and to create an environment to joint the science and technology with business and production. Participants to the Techmart will be supported to renew technologies, edge competitiveness and increase working efficiency and improving product quality with low costs.
Besides, the Organising Committee will co-host other activities such as conferences on sciences and technologies, investment and development supports, and exchanges for localities and scientific and technological organisations and enterprises.
