Mr. Khuat Van Khanh, Deputy Director of Vinh Phuc Department of Foreign Affairs addresses the Vinh Phuc-Tochigi investment and trade promotion conference
After nearly two years of signing the friendship cooperation agreement, Vinh Phuc province (Vietnam) and Tochigi prefecture (Japan) have made great efforts to carry out various investment promotion events, experience exchanges and cooperation events for mutual development. The webinar aimed to help businesses of the two localities connect, share and study their mutual investment potential and climate, propose solutions to foster cooperation, attract investment and exchange trade. This practical activity celebrated the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations.
At the workshop, the Department of Planning and Investment of Vinh Phuc province briefly introduced the socioeconomic situations and investment advantages of Vinh Phuc as well as northern Vietnam. A representative of Sumitomo Corporation (Japan) delivered a presentation on advantages and investment attraction results in Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park (one of the major modern, synchronous industrial parks in Vinh Phuc province).
The Department of Planning and Investment also answered questions from companies about preferential policies, tax exemptions and reductions for investors in Vinh Phuc, as well as other high-tech projects that the province is calling for.
Vinh Phuc province has leveraged its available potential and advantages to develop a robust industrial sector. The province has focused on improving the investment environment, constantly reforming administrative procedures, flexibly applying tax incentive policies, and providing favorable conditions for timely support and settlement of difficulties and obstacles that impede investment flows from companies. Currently, Vinh Phuc is seeking investment capital for prioritized environmentally friendly high-tech projects, parts manufacturing projects for automobile and motorcycle industries, education projects, healthcare projects, tourism service projects and high-tech agricultural projects.
