The seminar aimed to assess the landscape of IT application of enterprises in Central Vietnam and propose IT application solutions for enterprises to improve their business effectiveness. It also targeted an increased awareness of the role of IT in development and international integration of localities and enterprises and developed a close relationship between solution suppliers and IT application enterprises. At the seminar, localities and enterprises talked about their difficulties in IT application.

VCCI, the focal agency of the implementation of the Programme 191, under the Decision N0 191/2005/QD-TTg by the Prime Minister on helping enterprises in IT application for international integration and development in the 2005-2010 period, said it hoped that the seminar and other coming events of the kind held nationwide would help disseminate information about IT application to enterprises, thus helping them increase their competitiveness during the industrialisation and modernisation process.
