Can Tho City: Licensing Three New Investment Projects

The Can Tho City’s Industrial Zones and Export Processing Zones Authority licensed three industrial projects to hire eight hectares of land in Tra Noc Industrial Park 02 in the first days of 2007.

The three projects comprise of a chopped wood production project, a radiation factory and an electrical generation factory. Besides, the Vietnam Machinery Installation Corp. (Lilama) also leased 30-50 ha of land in industrial parks in Can Tho City and two companies from Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho City rented 12 ha of land in Tra Noc Industrial Park 2. Mr Vo Van Hung, Director of the city’s Industrial Zones and Export Processing Zones Authority, said: The Authority is hastily preparing to compensate land reclamation for households in Tra Noc Industrial Park 02 to hand cleared land to investors.
