Vinashin Delivers Last 8,700-DWT Cargo Freighter to Japan

Ben Kien Shipyard in the northern port city of Haiphong, a subsidiary of Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (Vinashin), delivered the last ship under its contract to build 4 cargo ships of 8,700 DWT to Japanese Kanematsu Group recently.
 
The cargo freighter, christened Unicorn Bravo, measured at 111.7 meters long, 18.6 meters wide and 9.6 meters high.
 
Equipped with modern facilities, the ship is meeting the international shipping conventions and can dock at seaports worldwide.
 
The ship can run at an average speed of 14 nautical miles per hour. Its construction was supervised and inspected by Japan’s NK Register. (VNA)
