Viet Tien Garment Company has still taken the lead in the Vietnamese textile and garment sector, according to the fifth annual selection of best-performing apparel enterprises in the country jointly organized by the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) and Thoi Bao Kinh Te Sai Gon.

The Ho Chi Minh City-headquartered garment maker stands out in almost all business aspects among 300 apparel enterprises entered into the selection and 67 short-listed in the final selection.

This is the fifth consecutive year Viet Tien has earned the honor, since the first selection organized in 2004.

In the selection, the organizers introduced ten different evaluation criteria, including business efficiency, investment in technology, social responsibility and sustainable development. (Thoi Bao Kinh Te Sai Gon)
