Hai Phong City is a potential land and is quickly developing in the integration process. The current achievement is resulted from the effort of the municipal government, the care from the central government and the contribution of the local business community, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. Ship Technology Partnership Company (Shiptech) is an active player.
The history of Shiptech is tied to Mr. Nguyen Nam Tuan, Chairman of Board of Directors, General Director and Party Chief of the company. In 2000, Shiptech was set up with seven founding members, including three general partners and four partnership members.

The company is mainly involved in researching, consulting, designing, transferring ship technology, providing technical assistance, providing and consolidating radio and electronic information systems and maritime services.
