Kinh Do Runs US$23.5 Mln Candy Plant in Binh Duong

Kinh Do Joint Stock Company December 15 officially put its new candy plant with total investment of VND400 billion (more than US$23.5 million) in southern Binh Duong province.
 
The plant, covering 9 hectares in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Zone, has total capacity of 2.3 tons of candy per hour.
 
Le Phung Hao, Kinh Do’s deputy general director, said the company expected the new plant will raise its total revenue to VND3 trillion (US$176 million) yearly, including US$30 million from exports. (Youth, Vietnam Economic Times)
