The Van Y Joint Stock Company has recently kicked off construction of a food plant with total investment of US$12.6 million in Mekong Delta Dong Thap province.
Covering 6 hectares in Binh Thanh Industrial Zone, Thanh Binh district, the plant is scheduled to run in the fourth quarter of this year.
Once operational, the plant, installed with EU and Japan equipments, will use 72,000 tons of input to produce 30,000 tons of catfish product and 5,000 tons of value added products annually.
The Van Y JSC is jointly established by the Hung Ca Co. Ltd and the Hoan Chau Investment Co. Ltd. (Investment)
